Slow Breathing Practice
Join me in practicing breathing at six breaths per minute: a rhythm rooted in ancient traditions and supported by modern research. This steady pace has been found to be beneficial for many people and is widely used in practices that support emotional regulation and nervous system balance.*
At this rhythm, the body naturally begins to settle and organize itself. The heart, breath, and nervous system start working together more smoothly, often supporting a sense of calm, balance, and grounded focus. Many people experience this breathing pattern as regulating and stabilizing, helping the body move out of stress and into a more restful state.
During the session, I will spend little time on theory and instead guide you carefully through the practice itself, so you can learn how to use it on your own. The session includes up to 20 minutes of guided breathing, with additional time for a brief exchange.
This practice is generally safe for most people. However, if you have cardiovascular, respiratory, or neurological conditions, experience frequent dizziness or panic attacks, are pregnant, recovering from surgery, or have concerns about breathwork, please consult a qualified healthcare provider beforehand and always listen to your body.
*Often referred to as resonance breathing, this approach has been studied extensively by researchers, including Paul Lehrer, Evgeny Vaschillo, and Richard Gevirtz.

Peer Support Groups
I organize and facilitate peer support groups: regular small-group meetings that offer psychological and emotional support from people facing similar challenges.
Current ongoing groups:
- Peer support group for Russian-speaking entrepreneurs (SME)
- Peer support group for international residents in the Greater Geneva area (Switzerland)
Past projects
- 19 September 2025. Walking on eggshells: a session about psychological and emotional abuse, organized in partnership with Marie Lowe Schrieder. During this event, the participants discussed how to recognize patterns of abuse, learned about its impacts on the body and mind, and explored various self-care strategies.
