How I Work

I believe much of our suffering—emotional, mental, or even physical—comes from being disconnected from ourselves. When we don’t live in a way that feels true to us, life feels harder, decisions become confusing, and stress builds up.

But how can we be our true selves if we don’t know who that is? Most of us were never encouraged to ask, What do I really want? Even when our gut feeling tries to guide us, we often ignore or doubt it—especially if we’ve been through pain. Traumatising experiences can leave us second-guessing, stuck in patterns, or reacting in ways we don’t understand.

Trauma isn’t just extreme events like war or abuse. It can come from childhood fears, constant conflict at home, or witnessing suffering. It’s not about what happened but how our body responded. If the stress was too much, our nervous system might still be stuck in survival mode—on edge, overwhelmed, or emotionally shut down.

That’s why, in m opinion, working with the body and subconscious mind is key. Our body has natural ways to handle stress, but if it gets stuck, no amount of thinking or talking will fully solve the problem. Our imagination, sensations and feelings that emerge when we stop overthinking can help us to shift old patterns and find clarity.
